Networking is Dead

People are exhausted with networking events.

Every event promotes “networking.” But really, all they’re doing is carving out time for serendipity — hoping you might meet someone relevant.

That’s not connection. That’s chance.

What people actually want is a highly curated room. And curation is not allowing everyone in. It’s discerning who needs to be there and who doesn’t.

Creating a room that’s already been curated based on the guests’ goals, needs and interests.

Meeting a bunch of random folks isn’t special. Sitting at the table with the aligned 8 people is.

The biggest mistake people make with their events? Letting everyone in.

Networking is dead. Curated connection is in.
